Abstract

The post-covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the world of education. This greatly affects the quality of an educational institution. In practice, an educational institution requires proper management to achieve quality standards. Here MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo has implemented total quality management to improve the quality of education after the covid-19 pandemic. The formulation of the problem that can be taken is how is the quality of education at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo after the covid-19 pandemic, how is the implementation of Total Quality Management at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo after the covid-19 pandemic, what are the
supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of Total Quality Management at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo after the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative (descriptive) method with stakeholders as data sources and the state of the madrasa environment as field data objects. The data will be analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the quality of education at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo after the covid-19 pandemic seen from the input, process, and output, which is good. The educational inputs at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo have been well fulfilled. The educational process at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo has been going well, namely by carrying out learning, guidance, and training. So that it can be seen that the educational output of MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo is student achievement, both academic and non-academic achievements. Implementation of total quality
management at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo after the covid-19 pandemic, which includes planning, program implementation, and results. By looking at the pillars of quality schools which include customer focus, total engagement, commitment,
measurement, and long-term improvement. So MTs Negeri 4 Ponorogo is included in a total quality school because it has implemented the five pillars of a total quality school. The supporting factors for the implementation of total quality management after the covid-19 pandemic at MTs Negeri 4 Ponorgo are openness, cooperation, working in accordance with the main tasks and functions, cohesiveness, facilities
and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are the limited number of people in an activity during the covid-19 pandemic and the different backgrounds of students.
