Abstract

Delvina Lailatul Prastiwi Munanda, 2022: Implementation Of Expository Learning Strategies On Fiqh Subject For Class VIII Students At MTsN 6 Ponorogo For The 2021/2022 Academic Year. Thesis, Bachelor Program (S1), Islamic Religious Education. “Wali songo” Islamic Boarding School Ngabar Ponorogo. Advisor. (1) Drs. H. Alwi Mudhofar. M.Pd.I, (2) Nurul Muttaqin, M.Pd.I One of the problems facing our world of education is the problem of the weakness of the learning process. In the learning process, children are less encouraged to develop thinking skills. In the standard implementation of the education process, the teacher is a very important implementer, because the success of the implementation of education process is very dependent on the
teacher as the spearhead. The Fiqih teacher for class VIII at MTsN 6 Ponorogo uses expository learning strategies when learning takes place. As educators play an active role in delivering material verbally to students. Educators are also the center of knowledge so that students are passive. The aims of this research are: (1) to find out what Expository Learning Strategy is in the subject of Fiqh for class VIII at MTsN 6 Ponorogo. (2) to find out how the implementation of the Expository Learning Strategy in Fiqh subjects for class VIII at MTsN 6 Ponorogo. (3) to find out the benefits of implementing the Expository Learning Strategy on the subject of Fiqh for class VIII at MTsN 6 Ponorogo. In this study the author uses qualitative methods, because this research is not just to get data, and not to get numbers but to find out the knowledge and understanding of Expository Learning Strategies at MTsN 6 Ponorogo by means of interviews, observation and documentation. This research is descriptive qualitative. The implementation of Expository Learning Streategies in the subject of Fiqh class VIII is of course in accordance with the procedures, namely: (1) formulating the objectives to be achieved. (2) master the subject matter well. (3) identify the terrain and various things that can affect the delivery process. (4) presentation of the material. (5) linking material. (6) conclude the material. (7) apply the material (evaluayion).
